Tire & auto service partners

Your shop. Your name. More horsepower.

We partner with independent tire and auto service shops. Sell a majority stake, keep a real piece, keep your sign up — and get a full pit crew behind you.

01The reality

You didn't open a shop to do payroll.

You opened it because you're good at the work — and customers trust you with their cars.

Somewhere along the way the job became hiring, insurance, software, vendor pricing, marketing and a phone that never stops. The shop's worth more than ever. So is the risk of carrying it alone.

Checkpoint exists to give that time — and that risk — back.

02The pit crew

You drive.
We're the pit crew.

Everything that keeps you in the office after the bays close — we take it off your plate, so you can run the shop the way you always have.

  1. 01

    People & HR

Hiring, onboarding, benefits and the paperwork that comes with a growing team.

  2. 02

    Finance & accounting

Books, payroll and reporting handled — clean numbers every month.

  3. 03

    Tire & parts buying

Group-scale pricing on the tires and parts you already stock.

  4. 04

    IT & technology

Shop systems, devices and security, supported — not another thing on your list.

  5. 05

    Marketing

Local search, reviews and campaigns that bring more cars into your bays.

  6. 06

    A bench of operators

Owners and leaders who've scaled shops before — one call away.

03What doesn't change

We ran the inspection. These all pass.

The things that made your shop worth partnering with are exactly the things we leave alone.

04The deal

Two paydays.
The second one's bigger.

Sell the whole shop and you get one check at a one-shop price. Partner with Checkpoint and the piece you keep rides the growth of the whole group.

Payday one · at close

Cash for a majority stake

Take meaningful money off the table on day one.

In between

Distributions

As support services and better buying lift your shop's profit, you share in it through cash distributions on the stake you keep.

Payday two · when the group sells

Your stake, at platform value

The piece you kept is now part of something much larger — and priced like it.

05The route

Five checkpoints. No surprises.

From the first conversation to the open road, every step is built around what you want next.

  1. CP 1

    Coffee, not a pitch

    Walk the shop

We learn your bays, your people, your numbers — and your goals.

  3. CP 3

    Build the deal

Timeline, economics and your role, designed around you.

  4. CP 4

    Plug in the crew

Back office, buying and tech connect behind your shop. Sign stays up.

  5. CP 5

    Open road

Grow with the group — and with other great operators.

06Careers

The bay is open.

Great technicians deserve a shop that does the job right. We're looking for the best in the region.

  • Quality first. A culture that cares about the repair and the customer.
  • Room to move up. Lead tech, shop manager, and leadership across the group.
  • Backed by a group. The stability of a growing platform, with a local-shop feel.

07Straight talk

Questions from the service desk.

Didn't see yours? Ask us directly →

Will you put a new name on my building?

No. Your name is a big part of why your shop is worth partnering with. It stays.

What happens to my techs and service writers?

They stay with you. The pit crew takes admin work off their plates so they can focus on customers and cars.

Do I still run the shop?

That's up to you. Your role is part of the deal — whether that's running day-to-day, stepping back, or stepping up into group leadership.

How much of my shop do I keep?

You sell a majority stake for cash and keep a real ownership stake. Exact economics depend on your shop and your goals — we'll walk through them in the first conversations.

Will you change how we do repairs?

If it's working, we leave it alone. We add support and buying power — not a rulebook.

Is the first conversation confidential?

Completely. We never contact your team, customers or suppliers without your say-so.
